Breathing is the most vital process of the mind and body. The effects of pranayama can be profound, influencing our mood, our thoughts, and our overall vitality.
Come learn the basics, or deepen your understanding, in what will primarily be an experiential setting. We’ll explore different forms of pranayama, starting with those that are typically most accessible and moving toward more involved breath techniques. This class will draw from a Viniyoga tradition, meaning we’ll explore how different techniques resonate for you as an individual without rigid expectations. You will leave with skills to take a pranayama practice into your daily life.
This is a great class for just about everyone, but perhaps specifically athletes, those seeking greater mental clarity and focus, chronic pain sufferers, and those seeking tools to ease depression, anxiety, and trauma.
