Not “flexible”, “focused” or “athletic”? No problem, YOU CAN do yoga! This workshop is for those who are new to yoga and want to establish a practice or for those wanting to reestablish their practice by revisiting the fundamentals.
This interactive, experiential workshop introduces the physical and philosophical fundamentals of yoga, and prepares you to confidently and safely participate in a basics-level class. You will be guided through basic asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breathing practices), and “brief” meditation, with the opportunity to explore personalized modifications and ask questions.
You will learn how to skillfully use yoga blocks, blankets, and belts to ease places of tightness and support yourself in a healthy practice.
