This workshop will provide you with the fundamentals of Sun Salutations. Each pose will be broken down. Learn proper alignment and modifications to maximize the benefits and tailor the sequence to your needs. Vinyasa yoga aids in breath control, improves energy and strengthens skeletal & muscular systems.
This workshop consists of theory, demonstration, and practice, focusing on alignment, flow, and breath. You will learn to:
deepen your yoga practice by improving upon this foundational routine
learn how to approach poses in the sun salutation safely & effectively
receive healing adjustments to your posture to settle & open your body
increase your energy levels
Christen Landry & Kerry Satterwhite are both 500 Master Level Certified Yoga Teachers, having received both their 200 & 300 hours of education from Sandra Carden of Union Yoga. They both are passionate and believe in an Alignment based practice in order to create a platform that fuels a safe practice where strength & ease can easily link movement to breath.
