You don't always think about balance when you think about strength, but in yoga, building strength comes with the ability to control your body, no matter its position. In this workshop you will learn techniques that will help you develop the strength and stamina needed to truly build upper body & core power in your yoga practice. Cultivate both the requisite strength & flexibility needed to ultimately work into arm balances & once you get the guts to get off the ground, you'll have the muscle to back you up!
AMANDA JACKSON is a Leelanau County native, a dedicated student & a E-RYT 200 teacher of Yoga. She studied Ashtanga Vinyasa under K.C. Mahesh & Yoga Therapy under Elizabeth Ruales at Abhijna School of Yoga in Varkala, Kerala, India. She holds a BS Degree in Community Health Education from Northern Michigan University.
